Kenilworth Quarantine Station’s (KQS) August 2009 shipment departed Cape Town International on Friday, 14 August on Singapore Airlines (SQ7341) B747-400 freighter to Amsterdam.
Racing South Africa supervised the loading with ground handling support from Swiss Port and the flight departed well ahead of schedule. The 20 horses exported travelled comfortably under the professional care of flying grooms Dr Koos Neuland (also KQS’s Quarantine Master), Malan du Toit and Andre Mos (European Cargo Services).
Morgan Cargo provided the overall logistical solution with Amsterdam-based European Cargo Services supplying the jet stalls.
